Silverdocs Reunion
DI alum John Aldrich catches up with current student Michelle Friedline
Film festivals aren’t just a good place for catching the latest documentary films and for networking, they can also provide the perfect venue for reunions. For the second year in a row, the DI faculty took advantage of the opportunity the Silverdocs Film Festival provides to bring old and new students together. The informal gathering gave current students the chance to meet several of the DI alums working in the DC area for National Geographic, HGTV and independent production houses. For the recent DI grads in attendance, it was also an opportunity to get some tips from alums on how to navigate the current job market.
