Jeanette Meentzen has led two separate lives. In her first life she was trapped and unable to travel outside of certain boundaries. The government owned everything and doled out money to its citizens. Those who tried to escape from its grip were murdered.
In her second life she is free. Free to make her own decisions, to do freelance graphic design work and to travel with her son as she wishes. Her family is now able to own and operate the business that the government took from them after World War II.
But even in this new life there is a price to pay.
