Bike Tour Guide
There’s no possible
way of missing Randall Howlett at the Alexanderplatz Fat Tire bike shop.
His outgoing nature captivates customers and his red dreadlocks that
extend to his lower back are eye-catching.
He has a noticeable Australian accent that has stuck
with him from growing up in Brisbane. He has also picked up many
languages from his travels and from communicating with diverse groups
that he encounters. Howlett’s main priority is to see as much of the
world as he can. He has experienced staying in 51 countries so far and
desires to visit everywhere in the world.
Howlett is highly acclaimed for bike tours that always leave
tourists returning happy. He is so good at what he does that he did not
even have to go through an application process to get the job in Berlin.
He was recommended by another company, Mike’s Bike Tours of Munich.
Before that he also led tours in Australia and Guatemala.
At Fat Tire in 2007, Howlett kicked off his fourth
season of giving bike tours around the city of Berlin. He specializes in
the powerful Third Reich tour that examines the impact of Nazi Germany,
though he also covers other important bike tours when scheduled.
Howlett is a humanitarian who wants to touch the lives
of as many less fortunate people as he can. After spending the summer in
Berlin, Howlett will be venturing to Bolivia for at least three years to
continue working on his self-established Non-Governmental Organization.
He initiated the project five years ago to benefit underprivileged
families with money raised from social tourism.
