Tattoo Artist
Dido Walstra
As
she studied Molecular Biology in Berlin, Dido Walstra tattooed
on her downtime. “I was never known as a tattoo artist,” she
said. “I was known as the student who also did tattoos.” While
working on her thesis, Walstra decided that she wanted to pull
out of her studies and put all of her effort in what made her
the happiest: tattooing. “I realized that I couldn’t do both
well. I had to choose one or the other.” She was invited to be a
guest artist at Tatau Obscur, one of Berlin’s finest tattoo
galleries. Walstra is planning on becoming a “one-woman
business.” |
