Musician Ian Dunham
Former Tennessean Ian Dunham, 24, is between an audio-editing
job in Nuremberg last year and a master’s degree at the
University of Texas in July 2009. He works three days a week on
his own schedule, writing electro-acoustic music he sells to art
exhibits as background music. Dunham composes in an old squatter
building called Tacheles where tourists are warned not to
disturb artists at work. He pays his few bills through
unemployment checks from his former job. “Right now I’m just
enjoying Berlin,” said Dunham. “There’s a lot to do.” |
