Gardener and Cook David Chutryel 

Fresh from a university's zoology program, David Chutryel found himself unemployed. He refused the construction job suggested by an employment center, and wound up working at a farm where children come to play and learn about animals. “The farm was looking for a gardener,” he said. “Instead, they found me.” In addition to cooking pasta dishes, and making salads with greens from the garden, Chutryel cares for the animals. “Before this job, I didn’t know if I’d be good with children,” he said. “Now I’ve been here 15 years, and it seems to be working out.”
