Community Builder Sam Watt

Sam Watt moved from Scotland to Berlin about three years ago wanting to start a tea house. Working with friends, the effort turned into "Rigaer 105," a non-profit, volunteer-run, multi-use project space. It is a community of locals and foreigners who have come to love Berlin. Each member has an equal say. The space hosts language workshops, classes, events, exhibitions and reduced-cost meals. Rigaer 105 was founded on the idea that knowledge, skills and information should be available to all, no matter one's financial situation.
