Street Musician Philipp Schmidt 

For almost a year, Philipp Schmidt has played music throughout the streets of Berlin. He performs Disney songs for American tourists and targets local shopping districts hoping to score spare change. “I normally make around 10 bucks an hour,” Schmidt says. “The money’s on the street, all you have to do is pick it up.” Street performers must change locations every 30 minutes according to Berlin laws. Schmidt enjoys coffee breaks at Dunkin' Donuts and Big Macs from McDonald’s.  He also plays in the band "Vas Theatre" with friends.
