Immigrant Kateřina Kovářová

“What I like about Berlin is that you can look different, you can look however you want and nobody really cares about it,” said Kateřina Kovářová. “It’s the freedom of everything.” Originally from the Czech Republic, she moved to Berlin in October 2008 to be with her boyfriend. They live in an apartment in the Friedrichshain district and have two dogs: Tonta and Osama. Every morning she takes them on an hour-long walk. Then she rides her bike to work at one of the city’s three “Who Killed Bambi?” clothing stores.
