Jason Parkhurst Photography

I am a fourth year photojournalism student at the University of Florida and enjoy photographing everything from studio food shots to news events, but especially enjoy shooting sports.  I have worked at The Independent Florida Alligator for the last two years and am currently the Photo Editor of the paper, which is the largest independent student newspaper in the country with a daily (Monday-Friday) circulation of 35,000.  I have also assisted a few different photographers from Sports Illustrated at events like the Super Bowl and the Kentucky Derby to name a few.  This web page features some of my favorite photographs from the last year and includes a link to a picture package from the NCAA Womens Soccer Championship game this past December which UF won.  Let me know what you think of these images via e-mail at Jpark76@aol.com.
