There are two ways that students receive assistance in paying for study abroad--scholarships and student loans.

The University of Florida International Center offers a limited number of competitive scholarships, usually in the amount of $500.  Students should visit the IC, located in the Hub, to find out how to apply.  Each year we award between 8 and 12 of these scholarships.

Any student already receiving financial aid is usually able to defray some or all of the costs of a study abroad program by getting a loan.  To find out more about how to do this, visit the University of Florida International Center.
