Shaver lives and works in Bangkok, Thailand, where is the director of
his own photo agency, Edge2Edge Images. Previously he worked for
Agence Press France and was located in Beijing, China. Shaver was
among the first American journalists to photograph turmoil in Pakistan
following 9/11. In the early 1990s, he interned at The Miami Herald.
